Real Estate Team Assistant & Operations Right-Hand
We're a small real estate team with RE/MAX Big Bear who love this mountain and the people who call it home. Between an active brokerage and all of our marketing, there's more to do than we can keep up with — so we're looking for one dependable person to help us keep it all running.
This is a great first or second job for someone early in their career who is organized, motivated, and eager to learn. Real estate experience is a plus, not a requirement — the right attitude, work ethic, and eye for detail matter more, and we'll teach you the rest. If you're the kind of person who quietly turns chaos into order, we'd love to meet you.
What you'll do
- Prepare listings for market — get new listings launch-ready, from editing and organizing photos to setting up signage, lockboxes, and access.
- Create marketing materials — help design and produce listing and "Just Sold" flyers and keep everything on-brand and out in the field.
- Coordinate transactions — keep files, deadlines, and paperwork moving smoothly with lenders, title, and escrow through closing.
- Keep our social media active — post consistently and help create and share short-form video content.
- Support clients and the day-to-day — respond to calls, texts, and inquiries quickly, handle mailings and follow-up, and be a warm, organized presence.
- Help in the field — assist with open houses and cover backup showings when needed.
- A little personal help from time to time — the occasional errand or family task, like picking up the kids now and then. It's a small part of the role, and we're always clear about what's business and what's personal.
Who we're looking for
- Deeply organized and detail-oriented — you catch the thing everyone else missed.
- Reliable and self-directed — you do what you say you'll do, on time, without being chased.
- High personal standards and calm under pressure — you'd rather do it right than do it twice.
- Honest, warm, and a clear communicator.
- Comfortable with technology and happy to learn new tools, including AI — we use it every day.
- Local flexibility — you live down the hill or nearby and can reliably come up to Big Bear 1–2 days a week, with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
The details
- Schedule: Part-time to start, roughly 1–2 days on-site per week plus flexible remote hours, with room to grow into more hours over time.
- Pay: Hourly base plus performance bonuses tied to closings, plus mileage for on-site days. We'll talk specifics together.
- Location: Big Bear Lake and surrounding areas, plus your own space for remote work.
How to apply
Culture fit matters as much as skill to us, so we ask every applicant to include two quick personality results. They're free and take about ten minutes each — they simply help us understand how you're wired.
Then send us: your DISC result, your Enneagram type, a quick note about yourself, and a few sentences on a time you took something disorganized and made it run smoothly.
Email everything to rachaelsmithrealestate@gmail.com · Call or text 909.744.2190
We read every application ourselves. If we're a fit, you'll hear from us.
