This page explains what this website collects, who processes it, and how to opt out or ask for your information to be removed.
This policy applies to buyinbigbearlake.com, operated by Rachael Smith-Meadors, Broker Associate with RE/MAX Big Bear, CA DRE# 01923537, 626 Pine Knot Ave, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315.
It does not cover RE/MAX corporate sites, the multiple listing service, or third-party sites you reach from links here. Those have their own policies.
When you submit a contact, showing-request or home-valuation form, you provide your name, email address, and optionally a phone number and details about what you are looking for — buyer or seller, preferred area, budget, and any message you write.
You are never required to use a form. You can call or text 909.744.2190 instead.
Like most websites, this one records technical information when you visit: pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and the site or advertisement that referred you. If you arrive from a Google ad, a click identifier is captured and attached to any form you later submit, so that enquiry can be matched to the advertisement.

Your information is not sold. It is shared only with the service providers listed above, and where disclosure is required by law or by real estate regulation.
If you give a phone number, it is used to respond to your enquiry by call or text. If you would prefer not to be contacted by phone, say so in your message or reply STOP to any text. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link, and you can ask to be removed at any time by replying or emailing directly.
Cookies are used for analytics and advertising measurement. You have several ways to limit this:
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Google offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and advertising personalisation can be turned off in your Google account settings. One limit worth stating plainly: records relating to an actual real estate transaction may need to be retained for a period set by law and by brokerage and regulatory requirements, so those cannot always be deleted on request. Everything else can be.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights. If you believe you do, say so when you contact us and your request will be handled accordingly.
